Welcome to the second issue of the Canon Style IXUS magazine. This issue, we begin our search for that special quality in people, the quality that’s so alluring that no words can describe it. We’re talking about the IXUS Factor.

Our Trendy Trio, Jeff, Hellven and Jasmine were out, armed with their Canon IXUS cameras in search of people along Orchard Road that had the IXUS Factor. This time, it’s not just about searching for people with good looks but going the extra step to approach people to find out what style meant to them and whether they had the IXUS Factor.

How did the public fare? Well, let’s find out!

Here’s one of our first contestants that was spotted by our Trendy Trio: Bruce Tan who feels that style is more than just dressing well but also being confident and feeling good about yourself.

While hanging around the *SCAPE flea market area, our Trendy Trio were keeping an eye out for people who not only stood out in terms of style but seemed confident enough, just like 23-year-old Krista Ho.

She and Bruce were busy selling some trendy street wear at the flea market when they caught Jeff’s attention. Krista describes style as being daring enough to wear whatever you want and being able to match the current fashion trends at the same time.

Our next contestant with Jeff and Hellven is Nicholas. He feels that he has the IXUS Factor because he believes in being himself and loving himself.

Amongst one of the questions they asked people along Orchard Road was to describe themselves in three words and Jasmine Lam stood out with her answer.

She describes herself as friendly, free and fresh - certainly some of the qualities we’re looking for in our search for participants for the IXUS Factor Contest!
