Spotted at Drink Culture

The best places to spot cool and trendy people are usually places or hang out joints of unique design. While members of the Canon IXUS Style Council were busy reviewing the interesting mixes at Drink Culture, we decided to trail Style Council member Yutaki as he took a closer look at the Victorian era styled bar.

Since we were invited just before the crowd came in, we decided to use the Canon IXUS to capture the artistic instalments any architect would appreciate. Here you can really see the open space and overall design of the place.

This marks the overall setting of Drink Culture, a style icon on its own. Just absorbing the ambience of the place inspires you to be a little more trendy while you’re there. It influences you to either play it safe with standard office wear or be bold and dress in unique contrast to its Victorian influence.

Since Yutaki was decked out in his own unique style, we got him to model for the Canon IXUS in a setting that is both old-fashioned yet modern at the same time.

Style and trends are so important these days. The impression you give and the public’s perception of you, perhaps even as far as how impressionable you are at work. So Yutaki posed a question to three people working at Drink Culture that night, “What is Style”? Jennifer who handles the walk-ins, Leslie who tends the bar and Leonard who goes out of his way to improve your Drink Culture experience. Here’s what they had to say.

So there you have it, a bar that’s not just about the food and drinks but the overall experience, especially if you’re looking for inspirations on style. The smooth atmosphere using a predominantly black and white colour scheme sets the mood for you, creating an experience of a different era.

With the everyday stresses of our careers, why not transport yourself to another world after work at Drink Culture. Located at 50 Kreta Ayer Road.
