Hello! I’m big-nose-Jasmine for today!
I’m using the fish-eye effect to take this picture and it’s quite funny to see how distorted my face is. Haha!
Have you guys heard of not for sale? If you’ve not heard of it, they are a Japanese boy band that consists of four fortune tellers, VJ, DJ and MC.
I was at Liang Court recently to see NOT FOR SALE fortune telling.

I had heard of Not For Sale during AFA X and I thought it would be great if I could get them to help me get my fortune told. When I was told to go for the Not For Sale fortune telling at Liang Court recently, I was so excited since I did not get the chance to do it during AFA X.
I got my fortune told by three of the fortune tellers, Juno, Hoshi and Sugar. Each of them are specialists in different disciplines of fortune telling; Juno in Tarot cards, Hoshi in palm reading, while Sugar specialises in Astrology.
I thought of a few questions and decided to ask them about my studies, work, relationship and health.

In the process of palm reading…
First, they start with palm reading, which was done by Hoshi.
Hoshi gives very detailed explanation when he does the palm reading. When I asked about my health, I was quite happy since Hoshi said that I would not have any major illness when I grow up.
After that, I was asking for relationship and marriage.

They’re trying to look at my “love line” or “marriage line”
“Love line” means how attractive you are to the opposite gender or the age you might get married.
As Hoshi was doing the palm reading, Sugar gave me some advice along the way. I found that for astrology, it is not very accurate when you do not have much information about yourself. At the start, Sugar asked for my name, as well as my birth date and time. I was not sure about the time I was born, therefore they said it might be inaccurate due to the lack of information.
After palm reading, it was on to the tarots cards to learn more about my relationship or love.
I was asked to shuffle the cards and think of a question I wanted answered. After that, he laid the cards down and explained what they meant.

Do they look like bad cards to you?
When I looked at the cards, all of them seemed to be bad cards, so I was a little worried of what he might say but it did not turn out to be really that bad.
After explaining about what the cards meant, he asked me to choose one of the cards from a deck with my left hand to see what advice he can give me.

I chose the hermit, and again it looked bad to me.
After the fortune telling, I would say that if you were to get your fortune told, it’s better to choose palm reading. For astrology, normally you could surf the net to know more about it but it differs with each source. For tarot cards, if you were to do it twice, the results would not be the same. As for palm reading, everyone is different because you can’t possibly have two people with the same palm. So the results are different from person to person.

This is me and my friend Peiting (:
Overall, all of them are quite friendly and I’m quite satisfied with the services they gave although some of the advice they gave me weren’t what the normal fortune teller would say (I assume). So in the end, it’s up to the individual to believe in fortune telling.
