Eddie Sung

Eddie Sung is Asia’s preeminent fine art music photographer. The first Asian to be inducted into the world-famous Morrison Hotel Gallery in New York, his rock images are featured on the album covers and artwork of legendary bands like Beach Boys, Blondie, Slipknot and Kitaro.

In 2006, he won all top three prizes at the New York photography awards ceremony Lucie Awards in the Non-Professional Music category.  The walls of Hard Rock Cafés have his prints on display and he has published a trilogy of well-received art/photography books – Eclectic Sanctum, Monochrome Manifestos & Sonic Solitude.

Blondie’s Debbie Harry and Chris Stein have appraised Sung’s work, “We met Eddie on a trip to Singapore. Besides being a gentleman he has a terrific eye that we have utilized on various occasions for our band. Eddie is devoted to music and photography and should be considered as an A-list camera handler.”
