If you buy Canon products in Singapore

If you are buying Canon products during your stay in Singapore, make sure you get the warranty that you are entitled to. Different conditions apply to different product group.

Tourist from China and India:

Local Warranty for tourists from China

If you buy one of the following products, the local Singapore warranty is valid in China too:

All digital cameras (PowerShot, IXUS and EOS models)
Note: Due to Chinese government regulations, cameras with built-in GPS are not covered under warranty.
All consumer digital camcorders (exclude semi-professional and professional range)
All SELPHY compact photo printers

What to do when you need product service in China:

Present your local Singapore warranty card & proof of purchase to Canon authorized service centres in China
You do not need to register your warranty online
Refer to www.canon.com.cn for a list of authorized service centres

Local Warranty for tourists from India

If you buy one of the following products, the local Singapore warranty is valid in India too:

All digital cameras (PowerShot, IXUS and EOS models)
All consumer digital camcorders (exclude semi-professional and professional range)
All SELPHY compact photo printers

What to do when you need product service in India:

Register your warranty online on https://in.canon
When you require product service, present your local Singapore warranty card & proof of purchase to Canon authorized service centres in India.
Refer to https://in.canon for a list of authorized service centres

Tourist Warranty for tourists from other countries

If you buy one of the following products, you are entitled to a special 6-months tourist warranty, valid only in certain countries:

PowerShot and IXUS digital cameras
All digital camcorders (exclude semi-professional and professional range)

To obtain your warranty, ask your dealer for the warranty card for tourists.

Asia Traveller Protection Programme (ATPP)

The Canon Asia Traveller Protection Programme (ATPP) enables you to travel across 15 countries and regions in Asia Pacific with easy access to professional repair services for your Canon product should the need arises. This premium service covers Canon products bought from an authorized Canon dealer and have been given an official Canon warranty.

You would enjoy this premium service for the first year of you local warranty (valid only in certain countries and regions), when you purchase one of the following Canon products:

All digital compact cameras (exclude iNSPiC)
All digital interchangeable lens cameras (EOS DSLR, EOS M, EOS R)
All EF, EF-S, EF-M and RF lenses
