Automatic colour detection
This scanning mode allows the DR-4010C to automatically determine which documents of a mixed batch should be scanned in colour, based on the amount of colour detected on each document
This function may not be supported by some third party scanning applications

Superior colour reproduction
The scanner’s 3-line sensor is also responsible for the exceptional accuracy of colour scans. Combined with the pinpoint colour matching of the 3-Dimensional Colour Correction chip, the result is vivid 24-bit colour images that are true to the original document and free of unwanted colour staining

Consistent image quality
To ensure consistent image quality, the DR-4010C performs an automatic calibration process called shading prior to each scan job

Clean, clear images from hard-to-scan documents
The Punch Hole Removal feature detects and removes the black dots left on an image after scanning a document with binder holes. Moiré Reduction reduces unwanted moiré pattern effects when scanning documents containing heavy graphic elements at lower resolutions. And “Prevent Bleed Through / Remove Background” keeps the back side of thin documents from showing through in the image
