Breakthrough scanning speeds have been made possible with a powerful in-built image processing chip, which allows fast scanning even while multiple concurrent image processing functions are being used. Additional JPEG compression allows faster transfer of high-resolution files from scanner to PC for higher overall efficiency.
Compared to 1-line image sensors, which scan colours separately one at a time, the newly developed 3-line CMOS image sensor technology detects all RGB colours simultaneously for image sharpness and tonal accuracy.
The well thought-out design of our scanners has been made to benefit the end user — from the manual feed mode to the motorised paper feed tray that adjusts height position relative to volume (up to 500 sheets). And the Active Torque Control accommodates documents from thin to thick by applying a lower torque setting to avoid damaging thin documents.
