Light-fast images
This printer uses Canon’s cutting-edge LUCIA 8-colour pigment ink technology to combine beauty with high-speed printing. Smooth representations of colour gradations with minimal graininess and dependable, consistent gray balance are achieved by using gray ink. Canon’s original high-quality inks are also resistant to scratches and fading, so prints are able to remain beautiful longer.
Auto black ink switch
Different black inks produce different optimal results, depending on the paper. While pigment black ink ensures excellent colour reproduction on photo paper, pigment matte black ink is the choice for producing ultra-dense black on matte paper. The printer smartly switches between black inks whenever the media type is changed to improve work efficiency and cut down wasted ink for optimal results every time.
